In Memoriam.

Listen, on the wind.

The clarion bugle call

Echoes of men marching in step

Voices calling through the ether of time:  “Send Me”


Wherever the weak are threatened by evil, “Send Me”

Wherever the land of the innocent is overtaken by aggression, “Send Me”

Wherever innocents are sent to their deaths by madness, “Send Me”

Whenever Liberty is threatened, “Send ME”


And so sent they have been

Time after time.  Again and Again.

A Nation blessed by Heroes from among her Men


Wherever they have fallen

Their bodies return

Homeward to a Thankful Nation

To an honored place interred


It is for this reason we pause on this day

And give thanks for the sacrifices made

Never forget the eternal price they paid
